What does business email cost?
Email only is €3 a month with one mailbox included; every extra mailbox is €2 a month. If you host your website with us, mailboxes are €2 each on any plan. Each mailbox holds 1 GB; bigger mailboxes are 10 GB +€1 · 25 GB +€2 · 50 GB +€4 a month. Prices ex VAT, and the first 14 days are free.
Do I have to move my website or my domain?
No. With email only, your website and your DNS stay exactly where they are. Your domain stays at your registrar; you add the mail records we show you, and we check them for you.
Can I use it on my phone and in Outlook?
Yes. Any mail app that speaks IMAP and SMTP works — iPhone and iPad, Android, Outlook on Windows and Mac, Apple Mail and Thunderbird — next to webmail in the browser.
Where is my email stored?
In the EU, on mail servers we run ourselves in Germany. veldhost is a Dutch company; there is no third-party email provider and no US cloud company in between. The sub-processors are listed in our Data Processing Agreement.
Can you move my existing mailboxes?
Yes. Moving mailboxes is part of our free migration, together with your website, database and DNS if you bring those too. Tell us where your mail is today.
Is my mail protected against spam and spoofing?
Incoming mail is filtered for spam and viruses. For your outgoing mail, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records are set up for your domain so receiving servers can verify that a message really comes from you.
