Apps and runtimes
Run any app. We keep it running.
WordPress, Laravel, any PHP app or a static site today; Node.js apps and one-click shops, CMSs and business tools as they land. Every entry on this page is generated from the same catalogue the dashboard uses, with its real status — nothing is marked available before we have run it end to end.
Runtimes
What the platform can execute.
Each site runs in its own Linux container with nginx in front. The runtime decides what can run inside it; the apps below map onto these runtimes.
| Runtime | Versions | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| PHP | 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5 | Available | PHP-FPM with Composer; the version is switched per site from the dashboard. |
| Static (nginx) | — | Available | Any generator’s output — Astro, Hugo, Eleventy, Jekyll — served straight by nginx. |
| Node.js | 22 LTS, 24 | Available | A service inside your site’s container, deployed from git with npm build and start. |
| Python | — | Planned | On the roadmap after Node.js. |
Every runtime gets the same platform underneath: git deploys with one-click rollback, staging copies, weekly backups on every plan (nightly with the daily add-on) replicated to a second region, monitoring, and the REST API and MCP server your tools can drive.

How to read this page
A status is a promise, so we only give it once it is true.
The catalogue behind this page is the one the dashboard picker reads. When an installer has been run end to end on our staging sandbox it becomes available here and there on the same day; until then it says so.
Good questions
Before you pick an app.
Which apps can I run on veldhost today?
Available right now: WooCommerce, PrestaShop, WordPress, Ghost, Strapi, Directus, Static site, Nextcloud, Matomo, n8n, Umami, Laravel, Any PHP app, Any Node.js app, Next.js, Nuxt, SvelteKit, Astro, Astro (Node adapter), Express / Node API, Anything from git. Everything else on this page carries its status — in progress, planned, or set up on a Business plan — and we do not mark anything available before it has been exercised end to end.
Can I run Node.js apps such as Next.js, Nuxt or Ghost?
The Node.js runtime is listed in the matrix above with its current status, and each Node-based app carries its own. Until it is marked available, a Node project can already be built here and served as a static site (Astro, SvelteKit’s static adapter, Next.js export), or you can ask for a Business plan where we set things up for you.
What if my app is not listed?
If it runs on PHP 8.2–8.5 or is a static site, connect the git repository and we build and deploy it on every push — that is the “Anything from git” entry. For anything else, tell us what it is; the honest answer is either a date or a no.
Can I install WooCommerce on a WordPress site myself?
Yes. WordPress is available today and you can install any plugin, WooCommerce included. The pre-configured one-click WooCommerce install listed above is a separate item with its own status.
Do you offer Windows or .NET hosting?
No. Every site runs in its own Linux container. If you need Windows or .NET, we are not the right host and will say so.

Bring the app. We run the rest.
Pick a plan for anything marked available, or tell us about the app you have and we will say whether it fits — and on which plan.
