Do I have to move my domain to you?
No — and you cannot, in the sense that we do not sell domains. Keep it at your registrar and point its DNS at us: the portal reads your current records, copies them across first, and tells you exactly which nameservers to enter where. Don’t have a domain yet? Buy one at any registrar and add it here in a couple of minutes.
I already have a website. Can you host it?
In most cases, yes. Every veldhost site has an importer: upload a backup, paste a download link or let it pull from your old host over SFTP, and the site lands on a preview address in minutes. Rather not do it yourself? Ask, and an engineer moves it for you, free.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Any time, yourself, in a couple of clicks. Cancel during the free trial and you’re never charged. After that, cancelling stops the next renewal — no phone calls, no retention maze.
Where is my data kept?
In Europe, on infrastructure we operate ourselves. Your website, domain and data stay on European soil.
Can I see what is in my database?
Yes. On every plan, every site database opens in a read-only SQL workbench in the same dashboard — tables, sample rows, saved queries, CSV and Excel export. Add a warehouse you can write to, load it from a spreadsheet or another database, and chart any of it on a dashboard your team can open. Nothing to install, nothing that can touch your live site.
What do you handle, and what do I do?
The platform runs everything underneath: hosting, DNS, certificates, backups, updates and monitoring — provisioned automatically, and repaired automatically where it can be. Your part is the site itself. Moving from another host? Import it yourself in minutes, free — or ask, and an engineer does it for you.
