Every plan includes one site; weekly backups are always free. Extra apps, daily backups and storage boxes are billed at the same interval as your plan. Mailboxes, staging and CI/CD need something to attach to, so they’re switched on from your dashboard once your site and domain exist — staging is already included with Pro and Business.

Buying for an organisation? The trust centre has the vendor profile, security questionnaire, SLA and contract terms your procurement team will ask for; EU business customers with a valid VAT number are reverse-charged. Need an order form, a purchase-order reference or a negotiated SLA? Request a Business quote.

How the billing works.

What happens when the free trial ends?

Your plan starts and the card you added at checkout is charged for the first period. Cancel during the trial and nothing is ever charged; cancel later and the plan runs to the end of the paid period without renewing.

Can I change plans later?

Yes, instantly, from the dashboard. Upgrades and downgrades are prorated: you pay or are credited only for the remainder of the current period on your next invoice.

Is there a refund if I change my mind?

Consumers and sole traders keep a 14-day right of withdrawal on the hosting service with a full refund. Nothing you buy here is a domain, so nothing here is caught by the registry’s no-refund rule — and if we ever register a name for you on request, we tell you before you pay that the registry commits it the moment it is bought.

How are add-ons billed?

At the same interval as your plan, itemised on the invoice with the site each one belongs to. Switch an add-on off and its charge disappears from the next invoice.

Do I have to move my domain to you?

No — we do not sell or hold domains. Keep it at your registrar and point its DNS at us: the portal copies your current records first and tells you which nameservers to enter where. No domain is ever required for hosting; your site works on a veldhost address from day one.

What if I don’t have a domain yet?

Your site gets a free veldhost address immediately, and that is enough to go live. For a name of your own, buy it at any registrar and point it here — or ask us and we will register it for you, in your name, and look after the renewal. Either way it stays yours.

How is VAT handled?

Dutch VAT applies. EU business customers with a valid VAT number are reverse-charged (0%) and account for VAT themselves; prices are shown including or excluding VAT to match your customer type.

Do you accept purchase orders or bank transfer?

Self-serve plans are billed by card. Business orders come on a written quote, where purchase-order references and invoice-based payment are discussed per order.
