# Invite a team member

Never share your password — invite people instead. Members get their own login with working powers and no access to your billing.

## Invite

1. Site → **Access** tab → **Team** → enter their email → Invite.
2. If they already use veldhost, they get access instantly. Otherwise they receive a 14-day invite link and create their own (free) login.

## What members can do

- **Yes:** upload and deploy code, Git deploys, environment variables, PHP version, database, logs, backups and restores, SSH keys.
- **No:** see or change billing, buy add-ons, invite others, delete the site.

## Removing someone

Same Team card → **Remove**. Access ends immediately. Do this the day a collaboration ends — it's one click.
